Fantastic gilt metal handles that are solid and heavy These came from the Granada Cinema in Clapham, London that was first opened in 1937. The interior was one of designer Theodore Komisarjevsky's finest achievements, he was responsible for cinemas in the Granada chain including Dover, Bedford, Maidstone, Woolwich & Tooting. I am not certain if these handles were original to 1937 or made later. They clearly have some age but may be later versions of the original design. Very gothic with deco tones and would look fabulous on the right doors.
