Pair of Late Victorian Cast Iron Garden Planters

A great pair of heavy late Victorian cast iron planters, these are in solid condition and will look wonderful filled with flowering plants in a country garden. - Two holes in the base of each for drainage. - Carrying handles at the sides. - Leaf, birds and flower motifs cast into the iron. - Green colour, with pearlescent finish. - Flared, hollow bases to allow water drainage. In good condition showing wear consistent with age and use. There is some surface corrosion, but they are sturdy and solid.
