Pair of Solid Silver Escalloped Baskets - Howard & Co, New York c.1909

These are magnificent copies of the originals made in England around 1745. Each has a gadrooned border, a female bust handle and sits on 3 dolphin feet. For those not familiar with Howard & Company, they make very accurate and superb reproductions of early silver, very similar to the work of Chricton Brothers of England. They are in spectacular condition with very little wear and tear. One foot is slightly pushed in forming a small bulge on the inside. There is no inscription.
