Pair of Antique brass Sanctus Bell candlesticks circa 1890-1900 by William Tonks & Sons. It is of traditional bell form, beautifully decorated around the exterior with pierced floral scrolls and designs showing the four evangelists Matthew, Mark, Luke and John
The base with cast iron insert for extra weight and stability .
It is marked underneath: with the William Tonks & Sons
Sunburst logo and W.T&S. William Tonks produced items for large top flight stores of the day such as Liberty and Harrods.
