Overall this lovely pair of chairs are in good usuable condition with some wear consistent with age and use. There is some scuffing, knocking and wear to the woodwork as might be expected, and the chairs are overall a little faded. They are solid, but there is some slight movement in the joints. The chairs have some shrinkage cracking in places and show signs of restoration and repair. The upholstery is more modern and is quite heavily faded with some marking and wear.
