An attractive pair of vintage British surveyors' tape measures, comprising a Rabone Chesterman Ltd 20-metre example and a Treble 66-foot example, both housed in traditional circular leather cases with brass winding mechanisms. The rich cognac and chestnut-coloured leather cases, neatly stitched edges, aged brass fittings and original measuring tapes give both pieces considerable character and decorative appeal.
