A part-set of 19 out of 20 Charles Dickens' illustrated works in the publisher's deluxe binding of full red leather with gilt titling and decoration to spines. Top edges gilt, Chapman & Hall Ltd & Humphrey Milford, Pocket editions (if you have largish pockets) measuring 6¾'' x 4¼''. 19 volumes. Printed on thin paper. Illustrated in b/w by various artists including Cruikshank and 'Phiz,'. No dates, but circa 1910. The books are in varying conditions but good overall good, the spines and jackets on some are a little worn. A lovely time worn feel, would look fantastic for a themed interior.
