Description
This is a lovely Georgian teaspoon made by Paul Storr and hallmarked in London 1817. It is overall in good condition just a couple of small issues. There is slight wear to the end of the bowl and a small ding. The pattern is Kings Double Shell and Laurel with decoration on both sides and a small armorial, Latin motto and scrolled initials to the front. On the reverse the laurel leaf decoration extends to the bowl and culminates in a lovely double shell. Made with a good gauge of silver and hallmarks are clearly struck. Paul Storr is regarded as the finest English silversmith of the 19th century but to allow for the slight condition issues the spoon is offered at a discounted price.
