This is a very attractive centre piece garden planter. It dates to the early 20th century and is made of cast concrete which has weathered nicely It has a pedestal stem which sits on a square solid base. The shallow dish shaped planter top is detailed with a rim of Tudor roses in high relief. There is a drainage hole to the base of the bowl and this continues through the centre of the pedestal which is grooved at the base to allow water to seep away over the solid stone platform. This would make a fine garden centre piece for a formal rose garden or courtyard space for example. It will be delivered in 3 pieces which makes it easy to handle and thin joints of mortar could be added to consolidate it in position.

Very good condition. No cracks or damage. The top rim of the bowl would have been smooth originally, it is now rough where rain has washed away the surface
