Description
A lovely and petite Egyptian Revival silver scarab brooch, by the great Charles Horner. The body represents the classic scarab design, with openwork antennae and gorgeous blue/green guilloche enamels to the body and wings. To the back, the brooch is fully hallmarked for the sought after Chester Office and the pin is secured by a 'c' clasp. A super example by a sought after maker.
