The watch has a Swiss 10-jewel stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed underneath the dial with the manufacturer's name, Arsa. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which has images of medals and details of the movement, remontoir which relates to a mechanism that provides a more consistent and steady power source to the escapement and timekeeping mechanism, and ancre de precision which relates to the lever escapement. There is scratching where this inner cover has been opened in the past.
The watch measures 48mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is nickel and it has an unusual shagreen style pattern to the front and back. The case is in lovely condition.
The glass lens is in lovely condition too (some reflection showing in the main photo).
The dial is signed Chronometre Romeo. It has an Art Deco design, original hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers. Some age related darkening to the dial.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
All prices include UK postage (excluding Northern Ireland).
