Langendorf was a well respected Swiss watch making company and they traded for exactly 100 years from 1873. They used several brand names including Lanco, Larex and Lancyl.
This particular watch has a 15-jewel stem-winding movement, signed Lanco, which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover upon which are various details of the movement.
The watch measures 53mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is nickel and the hinged case back has a rubbed image of a locomotive. The case is in good condition, just a slight hint of unevenness to the back.
The watch glass is in good condition.
The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer 24 hour red numerals.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
