Pocket Watch: 1930s Limit Full Hunter Pocket Watch

The watch has a Swiss seven jewel stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed Limit, importers of watches into the UK, based in Oldham in Lancashire, UK. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover. The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is the gold plated Star model from the Dennison Watch Case Company, an English manufacturer and supplier to various watch makers. The case is in good condition, just a little unevenness to the front and some light surface marking, nothing too serious at all. The winding crown pushes in to release the front cover. Inside, there is an acrylic lens which is in good condition. The dial is signed Limit, together with the name of the original retailer although difficult to read. Original blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers. The watch comes in a new presentation box. All prices include UK postage (excluding Northern Ireland).
