Pocket Watch: 1930s Tavannes Pocket Watch & Chain

The watch has a Swiss 15-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely. A good quality movement with screw-set jewels. The watch measures 44mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is chrome plated and it is in good condition. The inside of the case back has the Trusty logo, with the image of a hound. This mark was first registered by Schwob Frères & Cie, one half of the founders of Tavannes, in 1884. The glass lens is in good condition (some white natural light reflection showing in the main photo). The signed dial is in its original finish, textured concentric circles to the centre and also to the subsidiary seconds dial. Breguet style hands and numbers. The watch comes with a later single chain, 31cm long. The watch and chain come in a new presentation box. All prices include UK postage (excluding Northern Ireland).
