Pocket Watch : 1950s Bravingtons Renown Pocket Watch

The watch has a Swiss 15-jewel Unitas 231 stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the name of the original retailer, Bravingtons. The company registered the Renown name in 1935 for Swiss watches to be sold under the Bravingtons name. The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is chromium plated. There is light marking, mainly to the back of the watch, but overall the condition is very acceptable. The glass lens is in good condition. The signed dial is in lovely condition with original blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute track. The watch comes in its original Bravingtons presentation box.
