Description
Very fine Victorian era silver cased open-faced fusee pocket watch. This premium quality timepiece, is hallmarked London 1877 and has a silver dial with machine turned Moiré pattern and a subsidiary second’s dial. Blued hands, raised Gothic style gold numerals, hand-crafted gold floral decoration, and gold outer garlanded ring. The fusee movement has a silver balance and diamond end stone. The case maker was Charles Cooke (“C.C”), of Thomas Street, The Butts, Coventry and the case and movement serial numbers are the same, “44885.” The watch comes securely packed with a winding key, together with instructions on how to wind and set the watch time. Note: This watch does not come with a chain or fob. If you require a silver chain/fob from our large stock, please contact us for advice.
