Pocket Watch : Antique 1920s Paxus Pocket Watch

The watch has a good quality 15 jewel Swiss stem-winding movement which is working well. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which has some light surface scratching where it has been opened over time. The movement is signed Paxus, a brand name registered by A. Reymond SA of Tramelan, Switzerland in 1920. The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and is the Star model made by the Dennison Watch Case Company, a prolific supplier of cases to various watch makers. The case is in nice condition. The glass lens is in nice condition with just a couple of small marks, nothing too detrimental at all. The white enamel dial is in nice condition with original blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track. The watch comes in a new presentation box.
