Pocket Watch: Antique English Silver Pocket Watch 1896

The watch has a stem-winding English movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the name of the original retailer, jeweller and watchmaker, Alfred Everington of Nottingham. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover. The watch measures 55mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside both of the case back for Chester 1896 with the maker’s mark for Thomas Hewitt of the Lancashire Watch Company. Overall, the case is in good condition, just a couple of small “dings” to the edge of the case back. The acrylic lens is in good condition. The dial has a few hairlines towards the bottom, and a very small nibble just about the centre. Pin set hands. The watch comes in a new presentation box. All Prices Include UK Postage.
