Pocket Watch: Antique Omega Gun Metal Pocket Watch, Limerick

The watch has a stem-winding movement, signed Omega, which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which has a little scratching to the edge. The watch measures 46mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gun metal. It is in good condition with just general light surface marking which is quite usual for gun metal cases. The inside of the hinged case back is signed with the Omega logo. The acrylic lens is in good condition. The dial is signed with the name of the original retailers, C Cromer, Limerick. Conrad Cromer was listed as both a watch maker and jeweller who traded from 18 George Street, Limerick. The dial is in lovely condition, just a minor scratch on the subsidiary seconds dial.
