Pocket Watch: Antique Silver Syren Pocket Watch & Chain

The watch has a good quality Swiss stem-winding movement which is working well. The movement screw-set jewels, a snail cam micro regulator and Breguet hairspring. The movement is signed Syren, a brand name registered by Revue Thommen. It is protected by an inner hinged cover which has a little marking. The watch measures 51mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside both of the case backs for Birmingham 1922, together with a case maker’s mark for Aaron Dennison, a prolific case manufacturer and supplier to various watch makers. The case is in good condition, just a little unevenness to the hinged case back. The glass lens is in good condition (some white reflection showing in the photo). The dial is in lovely condition with original blued steel hands. The watch comes with a single silver chain, 35cm long including the T-bar and the clasp. The T-bar is hallmarked 1899. Each of the links has the lion silver mark. Also included is a silver fob in the form of a life buoy. The watch and chain come in a new presentation box. All Prices Include UK Postage.
