The watch has a 17-jewel stem-winding movement, Royal grade, which is working nicely. This is a good quality movement with screw-set jewels, patterned plates and Breguet hairspring. The movement is fully signed and it has the serial number 7,068,001 which dates it back to 1899.
The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside the screw-on case back for Birmingham 1899, with a sponsor’s mark of AB for Alfred Bedford, manager of Waltham UK. The case is in good condition. There is a pattern to the back of the watch which has worn down with use over the years.
The acrylic lens is in lovely condition.
The signed dial is in super condition.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
All prices include UK postage (excluding Northern Ireland).
