Pocket Watch : Antique Waltham Pocket Watch, 1897

The watch has a seven jewel stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and it carries the serial number 8,395,362 which dates it back to 1897. The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside the case back for Birmingham 1896 with a sponsor’s mark for Alfred Bedford, Manager of Waltham UK. The case is in good condition, just age related wear to the engine turned detail on the back of the watch. The acrylic lens is in lovely condition. The signed dial looks good to the naked eye. If viewed closely, there is a 5mm hairline by number 9. The watch comes in a new presentation box. All prices include UK postage (excluding Northern Ireland).
