Antique Waltham pocket watch and chain. The watch has a good quality 15-jewel stem-winding movement, grade 620, which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and it has the serial number 17,461,150 which dates it back to 1908. The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is white metal, a robust corrosion resistant copper alloy. It is in good condition. The glass lens has a couple of marks but is very acceptable… some natural light reflection showing in the second photo. The signed dial is in lovely condition. The watch comes with a single chain, 29cm long. Also included is a fob with an image of two boxers. The reverse of the fob has the manufacturer’s initials, GM&S, a prominent British manufacturing silversmith and electroplate firm active in the first half of the 20th century.
