Pocket Watch Case Brown Wood 1940s Vintage Watch Protective Display Holder

Highly ornate carved brown wood gentleman's vintage pocket watch case / holder. Suitable for a 16 size or smaller pocket watch. (The pocket watches shown are for display purposes only and Not included). Measures;- Length; 9cm / 3 1/2" Depth; 2.3cm / 1" Width; 6cm / 2 3/8" and weighs 37.1 grams. Wonderful heavy carving to the front lid with the back being smooth, highly polished and showing the natural grain in the wood. Opens up correctly and has a Royal blue velvet lined recess (measures 5cm diameter) to hold a pocket watch securely. Cut out to top of base and lid allowing the watch bow to fit through snugly. Excellent condition with no damage and I have taken the liberty to apply a little beeswax polish overall.
