Pocket Watch Chain 10ct Rose Gold Filled Antique 1930s USA Double Albert 41.7g

Gentleman's absolutely magnificent 10ct (professionally tested) rose gold filled (has a lovely rich pink 'blush' and is known in the U.K as rolled gold), traditional chunky curb link Antique American pocket watch chain / double Albert with original big swivel T bar, original large dog clip and bolt ring. Rare now days to find one complete and with all the original fittings - they were often split up and made into Ladies bracelets. (Pocket watch shown is for display purposes only and NOT included). Similar to the pocket watch chain I have supplied to 'Peaky Blinders'. (Please excuse the reflections/dark shadows in the pictures - was extremely difficult to photograph). Measures; 40.5cm / 15 3/4" total length and weighs a hefty 41.7 grams. Bright crisp chunky traditional curb links (measure 6mm width) - all have a lovely 'fluid' feel to them, reflecting the light beautifully. Each length of the chain is finished off with an attractive oval shaped link. The two big central links are stamped to one side with the makers Trade name; Pioneer. Original large swivel T bar to centre (measures 3.9cm length) again with one of the big circular links below being clearly stamped to one side with the Trade name; PIONEER and carries their winged arrow symbol, (Pioneer was the Trade name for Taunton Pearl Works, Taunton, MA, U.S.A, who were one of the leading jewellery manufacturers of the era, established 1934 - 1950). Secure original big dog clip to one end (operates correctly) and original bolt ring to the opposite side (again works as it should) which was made to hold a Vesta case or similar fob of choice. Also has a short length of curb link chain just below the T bar with original round link to end - again allowing the wearer to display a fob if desired. Excellent bright clean condition with just a tiny bit of extremely light overall wear / patina / fine surface scratches to the T bar (all showing under eyeglass only) commensurate with age.
