Pocket Watch Chain 12ct Rolled Rolled Gold Dated 1920 Antique Double Albert 32.9g

Gentleman's highly impressive 12ct (professionally tested) rose rolled gold (has a lovely rich pink 'blush' and is known in the U.S.A as gold filled), traditional chunky curb link Antique pocket watch chain / double Albert with original large T bar, original swivel dog clip and bolt ring. Dated/Stamped; 1920. Rare now days to find one complete and with all the original fittings - they were often split up and made into Ladies bracelets. (Pocket watch shown is for display purposes only and NOT included). Similar to the pocket watch chain I have supplied to 'Peaky Blinders'. (Please excuse the reflections/dark shadows in the pictures - was extremely difficult to photograph). Measures; 39.5cm / 15 1/2" total length and weighs a heavy 32.9 grams. Bright crisp chunky traditional curb links (measure 5.5mm width) - all have a lovely 'fluid' feel to them, reflecting the light beautifully. Original large T bar to centre (measures 4cm length) which is correctly suspended from a short length of oval link chain. The larger oval link is stamped to one side with the raised initials of the maker (slightly rubbed with the passage of time); RFS & Co., and is clearly dated; 1920. Secure original swivel dog clip to one end (operates correctly) which is again clearly stamped to the inside; R.F.S & Co. Original bolt ring to the opposite side (again works as it should) which was made to hold a vesta case or similar fob. Excellent bright clean condition with no damage and just a tiny bit of extremely light overall patina / wear / fine surface scratches (all showing under eyeglass only) commensurate with age.
