Pocket Watch Chain 12ct Rose Rolled Gold Antique 1890s Albert With Sliding Bolt Ring

Victorian Gentleman's long and highly impressive 12ct rose rolled gold (professionally tested and is known in the U.S.A as gold filled) fancy link Antique pocket watch chain / double Albert with original large sliding swivel bolt ring and original matching dog clips. C~1890s. Similar to the pocket watch chain I have supplied to 'Peaky Blinders'. Measures; 45cm / 17 3/4" total length and weighs a respectable 13.6 grams. Bright crisp traditional curb links which are interspersed with six highly polished elongated links (measure 2.4cm length x 5mm width) - the 2 central ones are a different design to the others, having a fancy cut out 'zigzag' decoration - all have a lovely rich rose pink hue and reflect the light beautifully. Robust and well made original matching secure dog clip to each end both of which operate correctly and have attractive engine turned collars. The flat oval shaped link near to one of the dog clips is clearly (an unusually) stamped to one side; Special Import. Original big chunky sliding swivel bolt ring (measures 2cm diameter) which moves correctly up and down the entire length of the chain on its large roller link (does not go over either dog clip) and has a round link below - so allowing the wearer to display a fob if desired. Excellent bright clean condition with absolutely no damage, just a tiny bit of light overall wear/patina and fine little surface scratches (all showing under eyeglass only) commensurate with age.
