Pocket Watch Chain 12ct Rose Rolled Gold Antique 1920s Double Albert With T Bar

Gentleman's 12ct (professionally tested) rose rolled gold (stamped, has a lovely rich pink 'blush' and is known in the U.S.A as gold filled), traditional graduated curb link Antique German pocket watch chain / double Albert (by Friedrich Speidel) with original stamped swivel T bar and original, matching stamped dog clips. Similar to the pocket watch chain I have supplied to 'Peaky Blinders'. (Pocket watch shown is for display purposes only and NOT included). Measures; 39cm / 15 1/4" total length and weighs a heavy 30.6 grams. Bright crisp traditional graduated curb links (measures 6mm to centre and taper down each length of the chain to 5mm width) - all have a lovely 'fluid' feel to them, reflecting the light beautifully. Each end of the chains are finished off with a little oval link. Original swivel T bar to centre (measures 3.7cm length) which is clearly stamped; SP BEST ROLLED GOLD (Friedrich Speidel, Pforzheim, Germany - one of the leading jewellery manufacturers of the era, Est 1868 - 1937). Original matching dog clip to each end (both operate correctly, one swivels and the other does not - probably from lack of use) which are again clearly stamped with the makers initials; S.P. Also has a short length of curb link chain just below the T bar with original round link to end - so allowing the wearer to display a fob if desired. Excellent bright clean condition (looks to have had very little use - perhaps only high days and holidays) with just a tiny bit of extremely light (absolutely micro) overall wear/patina and fine little surface scratches commensurate with age.
