Pocket Watch Chain 14ct Gold Filled 1920s Antique Double Albert With T Bar

Gentleman's large and highly impressive 14ct gold filled (stamped and is known in the UK as rolled gold) traditional chunky graduated curb link Antique pocket watch chain / double Albert with original big T bar and matching original dog clips. C~1920's. Similar to the pocket watch chain I have supplied to 'Peaky Blinders' and is in absolutely outstanding condition. Measures; 40.5cm / 16" total length and weighs a heavy 45 grams. Bright crisp chunky traditional graduated curb links (measure 8mm width to centre and taper down each side to 5mm width) - all have a lovely 'fluid' feel to them, reflecting the light beautifully. The two big central links on each side of the chain are clearly stamped (within oblong fancy shaped, recessed cartouches); 14 Gf (14ct gold filled) and T*H (Thomas Hopwood, Birmingham, England). Robust and well made large original secure matching dog clip to each end (both operate correctly) which are correctly stamped (again in oblong shaped, recessed cartouches); T*H and are also unusually stamped around the top; Gold Filled. Big original T bar to centre (measures 3.9cm length and correctly suspended from a short length of oval link chain) which is also stamped (within an oval shaped, recessed cartouche); T*H and is clearly stamped to the other side; Gold Filled. Also has a short length of oval link chain just below the T bar with original big round link to end - so allowing the wearer to display a fob if desired. Excellent bright clean condition with absolutely no wear, damage or patina (looks to have had very little, if any use - perhaps only the occasional high day or holiday) and just a few extremely light and fine little overall surface scratches (showing under eyeglass only) commensurate with age.
