Pocket Watch Chain 14ct Rolled Gold 1920s Antique Double Albert With T Bar 44.5 Grams

Gentleman's large and highly impressive 14ct rose rolled gold (professionally tested and is known in the USA as gold filled) traditional chunky elongated curb link Antique pocket watch chain / double Albert by Thomas Hopwood with original big stamped swivel T bar and matching original stamped dog clips. C~1920's. Similar to the pocket watch chain I have supplied to 'Peaky Blinders'. Measures; 41cm / 16" total length and weighs a heavy 44.5 grams. Bright crisp chunky traditional rose rolled gold elongated curb links (have an attractive soft pink hue and measure 7.5mm width) - all have a lovely 'fluid' feel to them, reflecting the light beautifully. The two central links on each side of the chain are stamped (slightly rubbed); T*H - Thomas Hopwood, Birmingham, England. Robust and well made large original secure matching dog clip to each end (both operate correctly) which are again correctly stamped (within oval shaped cartouches); T*H. Big original swivel T bar to centre (measures 3.7cm length) which is suspended from a short length of oval link chain and is stamped (within an oblong shaped, recessed cartouche); T*H. Also has a short length of oval link chain just below the T bar with original big round link to end - so allowing the wearer to display a fob if desired. Excellent bright clean condition with absolutely no damage (looks to have had very little use, perhaps only high days and holidays) and just an extremely tiny bit of very light overall wear/patina and fine little surface scratches (all showing under eyeglass only) commensurate with age.
