Victorian Gentleman's highly unusual long two tone brass & steel fancy link antique (Arts & Crafts) pocket watch chain /Albert with original sliding / swivel 'dumb bell' T bar and matching stamped swivel dog clips.
Similar to the pocket watch chain I have supplied to 'Peaky Blinders'.
Measures; 41cm / 16" total length and weighs a very respectable 16.2 grams.
Bright crisp golden blonde brass 'paperclip' links (measure 1.9cm length x 3mm width) which are interspersed with three highly polished oval steel links - all have a lovely 'fluid' feel to them and reflect the light beautifully.
Secure original big brass swivel dog clip to each end (both operate correctly) which are stamped within a recessed, oval shaped cartouche with the makers initials; A.G.
Original brass swivel 'dumb bell' T bar (measures 3.4cm length) which moves up and down the entire length of the chain, correctly stopped at each end by the dog clips.
Also has a short length of brass 'paperclip' link chain just below the T bar with steel oval link to end - so allowing the wearer to display a fob if desired.
Excellent clean and bright condition with just a tiny (micro) bit of very light overall wear/patina and little surface scratches (all showing under eyeglass only) commensurate with age.
Will arrive in a new presentation box as shown and be very securely and safely packed.
