Pocket Watch Chain 18ct Rose Rolled Gold Victorian Double Albert Heavy 34.6 Grams

Victorian Gentleman's absolutely magnificent 18ct (stamped) rose rolled gold (has a lovely rich pink hue and is known in the U.S.A as gold filled), traditional chunky graduated curb link Antique (German) pocket watch chain / double Albert with original stamped T bar and original matching dog clips. Similar to the pocket watch chain I have supplied to 'Peaky Blinders'. (Rare now days to find one complete with all its original fittings). Measures; 39cm / 15 1/4" total length and weighs a heavy 34.6 grams. Bright crisp chunky traditional graduated curb links (measure 7mm width to centres and taper down each side to 4.5cm wide) - all have a lovely 'fluid' feel to them, reflecting the light beautifully and are finished off to each end with a little oval link. Original large T bar to centre (measures 3.6cm length) which is clearly stamped to one side; S.P. 18CT ROLLED GOLD S.P (Friedrich Speidel, Pforzheim, Germany - one of the leading jewellery manufacturers of the era). Robust and well made original secure matching dog clip to each end (both operate correctly) which are again stamped (within a diamond shaped cartouche); S.P. Also has a short length of curb link chain just below the T bar with original oval link to end - so allowing the wearer to display a fob if desired. Excellent bright clean condition with absolutely no damage (looks to have had very little use - perhaps only high days and holidays), just a tiny (micro) bit of overall patina and few little surface scratches (all showing under eyeglass only) commensurate with age.
