Pocket Watch Chain 1920s Big Brass Curb Link Double Albert & T Bar 34.5 Grams

Gentleman's traditional big brass chunky curb link Antique (English) pocket watch chain / double albert by Thomas Hopwood with original stamped T bar and matching stamped dog clips. Similar to the pocket watch chain I have supplied to 'Peaky Blinders'. (I have shown a photograph of it with a 16 ligne pocket watch to give an indication of size - the watch is Not included in the sale). Measures; 37.5cm / 14 3/4" total length and weighs a heavy 34.5 grams. Bright crisp traditional chunky curb links (measure 7mm width) - all have a lovely 'fluid' feel to them and reflect the light beautifully. Secure matching big brass dog clip to each end (both operate correctly) which are both stamped (within an oval cartouche); T*H - Thomas Hopwood, Birmingham, England and original brass T bar to centre (measures 3cm length) which is again stamped with the makers initials; T*H. Also has a short length of curb link chain just below the T bar with robust original round link to end - so allowing the wearer to display a fob if desired. Excellent clean and bright condition with no wear and just a tiny bit of very light overall patina and little surface scratches (all showing under eyeglass only) commensurate with age.
