Victorian Gentleman's highly impressive very fancy graduated link golden brass (pale blonde), Antique American (Oscar M. Draper) chunky pocket watch chain/Albert with original big T bar and original dog clip.
C ~ Dated 1872.
Very rare now days to find one complete with all its original fittings.
Similar to the pocket watch chain I have supplied to 'Peaky Blinders'.
(Please excuse the reflections / dark shadows in the pictures - was extremely difficult to photograph).
Measures; 33.5cm / 13 1/4" total length and weighs a heavy 34.3 grams.
Very unusual six sided fancy engine turned links (measure 6mm width to one end and taper down to 4mm width to the opposite end) - all have a lovely 'fluid' feel to them and reflect the light beautifully.
Robust original large T bar to one end (measures 4.2cm length) which is stamped and dated; PAT FEB 20 1872 (Patented February 20th 1872) and I can attribute this from the style to the maker; Oscar M. Draper (Est 1860 - 1890 Attleboro, MA, U.S.A).
Original big robust and secure dog clip to the other end which operates correctly.
Also has a short length of original circular link chain just below the T bar - so allowing the wearer to display a fob if desired.
Excellent clean and bright condition with no wear or damage and just a few little overall surface scratches (showing under eyeglass only) commensurate with age.
Will arrive in a new presentation box as shown and be very securely and safely packed.
