Pocket Watch Chain 'canadian Gold' 14ct Gold Filled Victorian Albert

Victorian Gentleman's highly impressive 14ct (professionally tested) gold filled (known in the U.K as rolled gold), traditional curb link Antique 'Canadian Gold' pocket watch chain / Albert (by N.C. Reading & Co) with original chunky signed swivel T bar and large dog clip. C~1890's. Similar to the pocket watch chain I have supplied to 'Peaky Blinders'. (Pocket watch shown is for sizing and colour shade only and NOT included). Measures; 33cm / 13" total length and weighs a highly respectable 26.3 grams. Bright crisp traditional curb links (measure 5mm width) - all have a lovely 'fluid' feel to them, reflecting the light beautifully. Robust and well made big secure dog clip to one end (operates correctly) and original chunky swivel T bar to the opposite end (measures 3.4cm length) which is clearly signed (within an oblong shaped, recessed cartouche); CANADIAN GOLD and carries the makers initials; NCR CO (N.C. Reading & Company, Birmingham, England). Also has a short length of curb link chain just below the T bar with original round link to end - so allowing the wearer to display a fob if desired. Excellent bright clean condition with just a little bit of light overall wear/patina (mainly to the T bar which also has a tiny old repair - one of the connecting central rings has been replaced at some time which does not affect operation) and fine surface scratches commensurate with age.
