Pocket Watch Chain Fob 1920s Antique Compass & Swivel Magnifying Glass

Gentleman's antique compass with swivel magnifying glass pocket watch chain fob. Useful item when you are out and about. (Please excuse the reflections/dark shadows in the pictures - was extremely difficult to photograph). Measures; 5.4 cm length (including the end ring), 8cm length (extended), 2.5 cm width, 1.3cm depth and weighs a respectable 14.7 grams. Unusual nickel plated fob which incorporates a raised compass to the front (note the attractive brass bezel) which has an ivory coloured paper dial, black directional markers and silver/blued steel pointer which does move but unsure of the accuracy. The back of the case is smooth and highly polished, free from any inscriptions or initials and is clearly stamped; MADE IN ENGLAND. Magnifying glass swings out from centre (can be taken in either direction) and once in position sits snugly in place as it should. The magnification through the glass lense (measures 1.9cm diameter) is excellent. Robust big brass end ring. Excellent clean and bright condition with just a little bit of light overall wear/patina commensurate with age. Will arrive in a new velvet presentation pouch and be very securely and safely packed.
