Vintage solid 925 silver (stamped) and Royal blue enamel World War Two 'V For Victory' fob for a Gentleman's pocket watch chain.
C~1945.
Similar to the fobs I have supplied to Pinewood Studios.

Measures; 3.4cm height (including the top ring), 2.5cm wide and weighs a respectable 4.4 grams.
Wonderful shield shaped fob which is adorned to the front with a slightly raised elaborate scrollwork decoration set upon a textured engine turned background which reflects the light beautifully.
To centre is a large raised Royal blue enamel capital letter; V - denoting 'V For Victory' (gesture made famous by Prime Minister Winston Churchill).
The back is smooth, highly polished and free from any inscriptions or initials.
Stamped to base (slightly rubbed with the passage of time); SILVER.
Original robust oval shaped silver top ring to attach to a Gentleman's pocket watch chain.
Excellent clean and bright condition with no wear or damage and just a few light and fine overall little surface scratches commensurate with age.
Will arrive in a new velvet presentation pouch and be very securely and safely packed.
