Pocket Watch Chain Fob Sterling Silver St Christopher 1971 Large Vintage Fob

Sterling silver (fully hallmarked) large and chunky St Christopher fob (with vintage motor car and airplane to back) for a Gentleman's pocket watch chain. Similar to the fobs I have supplied to Pinewood Studios. (Please excuse the reflections/dark shadows in the pictures - was extremely difficult to photograph). Measures; 4.1cm height (including the top ring), 2.3cm wide, 3mm depth and weighs a heavy 16 grams. Wonderful oval shaped fob with an attractive chamfered 'diamond cut' decoration around the circumference (reflects the light beautifully) holding to front a highly detailed, raised image of St Christopher to centre set upon a slightly textured background. The back is smooth, free from any inscriptions or initials and has a big raised 1930's type motor car to centre and early airplane above. Clearly hallmarked (within different shaped, recessed cartouches) with the Lion passant (Sterling silver), leopards head (London assay) and fancy scrolled lowercase letter; q - dating to 1971. Also stamped boldly with the makers initials; GJ LD. Large robust silver top ring to attach to a Gentleman's pocket watch chain. Excellent clean and bright condition with no wear or damage and just a few very light and fine overall little surface scratches commensurate with age.
