Pocket Watch Chain Fob Universal Key Victorian 1890s Antique Brass & Steel FWO

Original Victorian Gentleman's highly ornate golden brass and steel Antique Universal key winder fob to attach to a pocket watch chain. (These were used by the Victorian watch repairers to wind any watch - saved them having to hunt around for the correct sized key). Measures; 4.6cm length, 6.5mm diameter and weighs a very respectable 8.6 grams. Beautiful and extremely intricate engine turned design all around the barrel with polished steel 'jaws' which operate correctly (engaged by pushing the end button in to extend and open) - they have a very good grip. Swivel bail and robust brass top ring to attach to a Gentleman's pocket watch chain. Excellent clean and bright condition with no damage and just a tiny (micro) bit of overall patina commensurate with age.
