Pocket Watch Chain Fob Victorian 1851 Great Exhibition Crystal Palace Fob Seal

Original Victorian Gentleman's dainty brass pocket watch chain fob set with a black glass seal to base. Made to commemorate 'The Great Exhibition' held at Crystal Palace, London, England. C~1851. Similar to the fobs I have supplied to Pinewood Studios. (Please excuse the reflections/dark shadows in the pictures - was very difficult to photograph). Measures; 2.5cm height (including the top ring), 1.4cm diameter and weighs 2.9 grams. Ornate Victorian brass fob which carries a little flower decoration to either side. Held securely to base is a circular shaped, bevel edge, jet black glass seal 'stone' (measures 1.3cm diameter) which clearly depicts in relief Crystal Palace with three flags flying proudly above. Original robust brass top ring to attach to a Gentleman's pocket watch chain. Excellent clean and bright condition with some overall wear / patina / surface scratches commensurate with age.
