Pocket Watch Chain Fob Victorian Canadian Ornate Antique Brass Shield 1890s

Victorian Gentleman's large and highly ornate golden brass Antique Canadian pocket watch chain shield fob. Similar to the fobs I have supplied to Pinewood Studios. (Please excuse the reflections/dark shadows in the pictures - was very difficult to photograph). Measures; 4.4cm height (including the top ring), 3.1cm width and weighs a very respectable 7.6 grams. Attractive shield shaped fob which is beautifully adorned to the front with an attractive heavy scroll work decoration, featuring a raised fancy un-engraved shield cartouche to centre. The back is smooth, highly polished and free from any inscriptions or initials. Clearly stamped to centre (with a recessed, oblong shaped cartouche); CANADIAN. Original brass top ring to attach to a Gentleman's pocket watch chain. Excellent clean and bright condition with no damage and just a tiny (micro) bit of overall patina and light little surface scratches (mainly to back) commensurate with age.
