Gentleman's Sterling silver (fully hallmarked) pocket watch chain large ingot fob with fabulous feature hallmarks C~1977 - made to commemorate the Silver Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II. (Please excuse all the reflections/dark shadows in the pictures - was extremely difficult to photograph). Measures; 5.1cm height (including the top ring), 1.2cm width and weighs a heavy 14.1 grams. Wonderfully adorned to the front with an attractive engine turned, chamfered decoration around the four edges (reflects the light beautifully) and carries fabulous large recessed feature hallmarks to centre; anchor (Birmingham assay), Lion passant (Sterling silver), scrolled capital letter; C - dating to 1977 and the left facing profile of Queen Elizabeth II. Also stamped with the makers initials (again within a recessed cartouche); EJ LD. The slightly textured back is smooth, highly polished and free from any inscriptions or initials. Robust big silver top ring to attach to a pocket watch chain. Excellent clean and bright condition with no wear or damage and just a few very light little overall surface scratches (showing under eyeglass only) commensurate with age.
