Gentleman's Sterling silver (fully hallmarked, Sheffield assay) pocket watch chain chunky ingot fob with fabulous feature hallmarks C~1977 - made to commemorate the Silver Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II. (Please excuse all the reflections/dark shadows in the pictures - was extremely difficult to photograph). Measures; 4cm height (including the top ring), 1.6cm width and weighs a heavy 15.9 grams. Wonderfully adorned to the front with fabulous large recessed feature hallmarks to centre; Tudor Rose (Sheffield assay), Lion passant (Sterling silver), scrolled capital letter; C - dating to 1977 and the left facing profile of Queen Elizabeth II. Also boldly stamped with the makers initials (again within a recessed cartouche); I.J. The back is smooth, highly polished and free from any inscriptions or initials. Robust original big silver top ring to attach to a Gentleman's pocket watch chain. Excellent clean and bright condition with no wear or damage and just a few very light little overall surface scratches (showing under eyeglass only) commensurate with age.
