Pocket Watch Chain Photograph Fob 9ct Rolled Gold 1970s Vintage Large Pendant

Gentleman's 9ct rolled gold (stamped, professionally tested and known in the U.S.A as gold filled) large and highly impressive Vintage pocket watch chain photograph fob. C ~ 1970s (Please excuse all the reflections/dark shadows in the pictures - was extremely difficult to photograph). Similar to the fobs I have supplied to Pinewood Studios. Measures; 5.1cm height (including the top ring), 3.2cm width, 7mm depth and weighs a very respectable 12.9 grams. Wonderful oval shaped chunky fob which is elaborately engine turned to the front with crisp scroll work and leaves set upon an attractive engine turned background - reflects the light beautifully. The circumference carries an unusual 'zig zag' adornment. Smooth and highly polished to the back (which is free from any inscriptions or initials) and is clearly stamped (within an oblong shaped cartouche); ROLLED GOLD. Opens up correctly (hinge is true and firm with absolutely no play) and inside are two oval shaped compartments (both lined with emerald green baize) to display photographs of loved ones. Still retains the two original celluloid covers which are held securely within their rolled gold retaining rings. Secure fancy engine turned wide rolled gold top ring (sealed link) to attach to a Gentleman's pocket watch chain. Excellent clean and bright condition with no wear or damage and just some very light overall patina and little surface scratches (mainly to the back) commensurate with age.
