Pocket Watch Chain Silver Snuff Pot Fob Vintage 1970s Heavy 15.2 Grams

Gentleman's Vintage solid 925 silver (fully hallmarked), highly ornate pocket watch chain snuff pot/stash fob (with two compartments) in the Art Nouveau style. C~1970's. Similar to the fobs I have supplied to Pinewood Studios. (Please excuse the reflections/dark shadows in the pictures - was very difficult to photograph). Measures; 3.1cm height, 2.3cm diameter and weighs a heavy 15.2 grams. Very chunky solid silver snuff pot which is beautifully and elaborately adorned all around with a slightly raised Art Nouveau style decoration incorporating little puffy love hearts. The highly polished domed top lid opens correctly, closing tightly with a very reassuring click and inside is a recessed engine turned compartment to place a pinch of snuff. Large main compartment below again opens and closes correctly and has plenty of room for storing a good supply of snuff (could also be useful to store tablets etc). Clearly stamped to the inside with the silver purity; 925. Original silver side ring which is clearly hallmarked (within recessed cartouches) with the silver purity; 925, Leopards Head (London assay) and is stamped with the makers initials; M.H. Both the top lid and base are free from any inscriptions or initials. Excellent clean and bright condition with no damage or wear and just a few tiny (absolutely micro) surface scratches (showing under eyeglass only) commensurate with age.
