Pocket Watch Chain Spinner Fob Victorian 1841 Two Annas Coin 12ct Gold Filled

Victorian Gentleman's highly ornate 12ct yellow and rose rolled gold (professionally tested and known in the U.S.A as gold filled) pocket watch chain large spinner fob set with a red Carnelian stone to one side and an original East India Co., 'Two Annas' coin to the other. Similar to the fobs I have supplied to Pinewood Studios. (Please excuse the reflections/dark shadows in the pictures - was extremely difficult to photograph). Measures; 3.7cm height (including the top ring), 2.2 width, 7mm depth and weighs a heavy 10.8 grams. Wonderful yellow gold filled half moon mount (very unusual rose gold filled twist wire bail to top) holding a wide chunky spinner 'drum case' which is stamped to one side (within a recessed, oblong shaped cartouche) with the makers initials; T*H - Thomas Hopwood (Birmingham, England). To centre is a bevel edge deep damson/red carnelian stone to one side and an original Victorian 'Two Annas' coin to the other side. Clearly stamped in slightly raised arched script; EAST INDIA COMPANY TWO ANNAS and is dated; 1841 (minted by the Madras Mint). (The East India Company was founded in 1600 by Royal Charter, formed to trade in the Indian Ocean region). Robust big brass secure top ring to attach to a Gentleman's pocket watch chain. Excellent clean and bright condition with no wear and just a tiny bit of very light overall patina and a few little (micro) surface scratches to the stone (showing under eyeglass only) commensurate with age.
