Victorian Gentleman's highly unusual 12ct gold filled (professionally tested and known in the UK as rolled gold), silver nickel and golden brass fancy equestrian horse snaffle bit link Antique chunky pocket watch chain / Albert with large 'dumb bell' T bar and stamped dog clip.
Similar to the pocket watch chain I supplied to 'Peaky Blinders'.
Would also make a Ladies fabulous bracelet.
(Please excuse the reflections/dark shadows in the pictures - was very difficult to photograph).
Measures; 26.5cm / 10 1/2" length and weighs a very respectable 25.9 grams.
12ct gold filled traditional curb links (measure 6mm width) which resemble the curb chain on a horses bridle.
To centre is a large, highly detailed gold filled equestrian horse snaffle bit which measures 9.5cm length.
The central round Niello link on the bit and the two Niello end links are pale silver nickel.
Robust original secure brass dog clip to one end (operates correctly) which is beautifully stamped within an oval shaped, recessed cartouche with a makers mark of a rearing horse.
Chunky brass 'dumb bell' T bar to the other end which measures 3.9cm length.
Excellent clean and bright condition with no damage and just a bit of overall wear/patina (many to the snaffle bit) and fine surface scratches commensurate with age.
Will arrive in a new presentation box as shown and be very securely and safely packed.
