Pocket Watch Chain Victorian Large Brass Mariner Link Albert 1880s Antique 38.9g

Gentleman's highly unusual large brass ( golden blonde) fancy 'Mariner' link Victorian pocket watch chain /Albert (by Lincoln Bacon & Co.) with original signed chunky T bar and signed swivel dog clip. Similar to the pocket watch chain I have supplied to 'Peaky Blinders'. (Pocket watch shown is for display purposes only and NOT included). Measures; 30cm / 11 3/4" total length and weighs a hefty 38.9 grams. Bright crisp very attractive and highly unusual Mariner links (measure 7mm width) with oval roller links in between - all reflect the light beautifully (and are very tactile). Original big chunky T bar to one end (measures 3.7cm length) which is clearly stamped; L.B. Canada - Lincoln Bacon & Co (Est 1883 - 1896) and original secure swivel dog clip to the opposite end (operates correctly) which is stamped with a Trade symbol of a bird (dove) perched on a polished ball. Also has a short length of Mariner link chain just below the T bar - so allowing the wearer to display a fob if desired. Excellent clean and bright condition with no wear (looks to have had very little use, perhaps only high days and holidays) and just a tiny (micro) bit of very light overall patina and little surface scratches (all showing under eyeglass only) commensurate with age.
