Pocket Watch Key by J Siddle Watch Maker Blyth Northumberland Victorian

Original Victorian brass and steel Antique swivel key winder fob by J. Siddle Watchmaker Blyth (Northumberland) to attach to a Gentleman's pocket watch chain. C~1890s. Measures; 4.3cm height (including the top ring), 1.4cm width and weighs a very respectable 3.7 grams. Wonderful brass five sided, bevel edge fob key which is beautifully stamped (in arched, raised script) to one side; J. SIDDLE BLYTH and stamped to the opposite side in (again in raised, arched script); WATCHMAKER & JEWELLER Steel key shaft with round end (no splits or damage) - size unknown but measures a fraction under 2mm internal. Good original swivel bail and robust brass top ring to attach to a Gentleman's pocket watch chain. Excellent clean and bright condition with no damage and just a tiny (micro) bit of overall patina (showing under eyeglass only) commensurate with age.
