Pocket Watch: Waltham Colonial Pocket Watch 1936

The watch has a 9-jewel stem-winding movement, Colonial b model, which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and it has the serial number 28,986,298 which dates it back to 1936. The watch measures 44mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the loop, so slightly smaller than a standard 50mm pocket watch. The case is stainless steel and was made by the Star Watch Case Company, supplier to Waltham. The case is in lovely condition, as is the glass lens. The signed dial is in beautiful original condition with handsome blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute track. The watch comes with a single chain, 24cm long including the T-bar and the clasp. The watch and chain come in a new presentation box. All prices include UK postage (excluding Northern Ireland).
